My Golden Retriever, Bailey, also has pink blotchy spots on his upper lip which seem to be spreading since i noticed them three days ago. He seems to keep licking it so its obviously irritating him. I also read from another member that it can be caused from metal bowls which we currently feed him from and considering changing. However, we also have another Golden Retriever that Bailey licks inside her ears and we cant seem to stop him. Although, not sure that could even be the cause, im just suggesting some unusual things that he does which could cause it. I tried uploading a picture but the image was too big but it looks exactly the same as the image uploaded by jeo1946 in earlier comments. Taking him to a vet soon.

You can move the post to make a new thread with it. I didn't know if you knew that.
