I found this on a new dog site I like - ThingsMyDogAte.com. Anyways, it inspired me. Thought I'd share...

"According to the humane society, 39% of all households in America own at least one dog...That’s a pretty large chunk of the population... But it also made me wonder about the other 61%... Why don’t they own dogs?

Okay, owning a dog isn’t for everyone, I understand that it’s a big responsibility and a huge expense. But there are plenty of people out there who just don’t understand why dogs are so great. My dad was one of them. It took him nearly fifty years to become a “dog lover”.

That’s why i want to make a dent into that 61% ... It’s one of my main goals...

But I need your help... I need stories. I need proof of the incredible joy dogs bring to your life. in spite of the destruction they sometimes cause...

Those stories are the best evidence in favor of dogs.

With those stories we can finally make a case to the other 61%.. maybe we can even convert them onto our side...The dog loving side!

I know it’s a little far fetched, but it’s something I want to fetch for!

Some are naturally in love with dogs but you can't blame some who hate them. Others may try to be but usually not so responsible and ending giving them up. Youtube have a lot of videos that shows lovely and heroic deeds of dogs.

well its better that way, just like what wishbone said, theres alot of irresponsible pet owner ending giving up their pet.. worst thing that could happen... dying..

Not all people are dog lovers.. some of them are fond of other kind of pet's or animals...
