Default Agressive chewer

I have a greyhound/mix whos about 2 and a very agressive chewer when it comes to his toys or bones. So far hes managed to chew up everything I've given him except for the giant rope. I have yet to try a kong, nylabone or bone from the butchers. I didnt mention rawhide in above list because I dont believe in giving dogs rawhide. Besides those 3 items does anyone have any other suggestions? Luckily so far the only non toy items hes tried are my railing outside (which i'm sure my landlord is gonna love) and the corner of one wooden tv tray. He was going to try the corner of my computer desk, except he decided to try that while I was sitting at the computer and got a stern leave it!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I recommend this product called elephant bone. They are very big you can get them at WalMart, PetCo, PetsMart or your local animal store.

Go to the butcher shop and ask them for a "knucklebone" it what they typically call the cows hip! It's big and it's healthy, and it's gonna last for a while. You can even have them cut it up for you if you ask nicely. The butcher by my house runs me 3.00 a pop for em.

Thanks for all the suggestions. He's getting plenty of exercise, he just likes to chew! Think I'll try the knucklebone next time I get to the butchers. Right now his favorite thing is a cardbord box to destroy. I dont dare let him have any soft squeaky toys unsupervised.

I laughed with the railing and the desk. You could make a cartoon out of him

at the rate hes going i'm gonna make a cartoon out of him alright its just a good thing for him that i understand that rescued dogs come with baggage, well that and hes such a clown!! he can have all his other toys laying around and give him the chance at a cardboard box and you would think you had just sat a kid down in a toy store and let them lose. i know i shouldnt, but since my ex room mate left about 4 or 5 boxes of flattened boxes when they moved out i give him one or two a week to play with. i'll try and get some pictures of his next box, he loves tossing them around, having me toss them, and just flat out tearing them up.
