Hi dog people!

I'm a mom to a rescue named Gypsy and grieving parent to a black lab mix and Australian shephard mix, both of whom made the transition within the last 2 years and both of whom lived nearly 16 years. Having lived with dogs for nearly all of my 53 years, I am especially glad to have taken on the following project.

I am a writer who is under contract by a major publisher to write a book containing stories about therapy, rescue, and/or unusual dogs and how they have changed the lives of their human companions. If you have or know of such a dog (and I know we all think our dogs are the world's best!!) and would like to share your story, please send me a BRIEF synopsis of your story---no more than 100 words please---and I will contact you if the story fits my needs.
