Hello friends supporters of animals,

I recently signed a petition on the internet "SOS pour les animaux de l’île de Mayotte, France" in order to help stray dogs and cats who are tortured, torn limb from limb, disemboweled, burned alive,… by some individuals on the Mayotte island (a French territory in the Indian Ocean not far from Madagascar).

Please help them because they lack of signatures, the petition goal is 2000 and they have reached for the moment a little more than 1750 names.

The charity "Gueules d’amour" is the only charity taking care of what is happening to stray dogs and cats in Mayotte island. They really need help, because they are doing a wonderful work with only a very few people and money. They want to raise awareness about the situation and to build up a refuge (because there is neither pound nor refuge for pets there and that the local authorities want to organize night battues with riffles in order to eradicate stray dogs. This kind of method is inacceptable in the 21st century.)
