Having spent most of my years on the west coast, I havent had to deal with dogs in cold winter conditions. What I'm wondering is if it is ok to use salt on my porch and walkway, or if I should try and do without it since thats where my dog goes in and out of the house at. I have a cement porch and walkway, and dealing with the ice is not my favourite thing, but if its better for Jake then I'll deal with it.
