Default Dog Booties

Do any of you have booties that your dogs use in the winter? Do they work? Do your dogs like them or try taking them off?

It's really depends on dogs itself. Some just don't mind it but others seemed bothered and try to remove it, but generally dogs like it.

Like others have been saying, it kind of depends on the dog. My dog needed a boot on one back foot because he had been licking his paw untill it was raw. The boot lasted maybe 5 minutes! I can tell you that im sure most puppies would tear them right off, and older dogs wouldn't mind as much.

My dog refuses! No matter how cold it is outside, she'd rather freeze So we just try to keep her inside when it's too cold or snowing. As for fashion booties... she's not having any of that either

Default dog booties

I tried dog booties a long time ago to keep my poodle's white feet clean. He was unable to walk in them, but we had a good laugh watching him try! Since then I have had 3 dogs and haven't tried booties again.

We need booties for our 3 dogs, especially our older 2. Our older 2's feet gets too cold on the snow & ice and they end up not being able to move to where we have to go outside to pick them up. The same goes for our mom & dad's Dachshund. I've seen the price of booties and have chosen to make ours. Our mom & we will come up with a pattern for each of ours and have some idea of what to make them out of and how to get them to stay on. Don't know if they'll keep the booties on but I think after awhile, they'll end up liking them 'cause their feet will be warm enough for them to stay outside a bit longer.

My dog just hates wearing booties. He likes to chew it, even my shoes, socks, etc. Argh.
