Default I've had enough

I've had it enough from my effinig stupid bichon dog!
This is her last day here home with me.
I found her stray almost dead took her home feed her took her to couple vets spent over 200$ on medical drugs and did every thing i can to keep her alive
But she wont ever learn a god damn thing
She wont stop urinating on my bed the sec i look away she ruined my carpet i had to throw away and i didn't hit her once untill tonight
You know why?
You might say because i'm dumb stupid
Well i guess i am for rescuing this idiot dog
I hit her because she wont I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!ing stop pulling the leash.
I tried every god damn way to teach her to stop i asked around on web i asked vets i tried every damn way i tried treats lots of them i tried being a tree i tried screaming bloody hell i tried using harness using choke collar she would rather die choking than stop and i mean it i saved her couple of times
My last option was the almighty 100$ an hour pro trainer and guess what ?
Didn't work he just said he's sorry but my dog is stupid i spent around 500$ and it didn't work
I swore that no matter what she wont get 5 mins outside the house unless its for pooping
But i weakened out i felt sorry today she was dying to get out and i took her for a walk and god it was me being taken on a walk i kept screaming she really got me so damn angry so i hit her
And before someone say it's because she's so happy to be out she goes out every day on two or three 1 hour walks each
I did a hormon test i did a complete test on the vet.
I tried a 2nd vet but nothings worked
Thats it for me and her tomorrow first thing in the morning before going to college she's off to the shelter. Let them I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!I LOVE DOGS!ing kill her
I spent over 900$ on a stupid dog so stop saying every dog can be trained.
900$ is a big deal for a student
I am so dumb for even thinking about rescuing a dog.

Uhm, whatever trainer would say "Im sorry your dog is dumb" Is a big dumba** himself!

Plus, you dont sound that smart if you cant even type a complete sentence or use spell check.

DOGS COST MONEY! If you couldnt afford a dog you shouldnt have gotten one!

A dog cant be bad/dumb/stupid, it can only be a dog.

YOU are doing something wrong. Hitting the dog, screaming at the dog, letting itself choke on a choke chain (which are REALLY bad for little dogs by the way and bichons are prone to COLLAPSED Trachea's by the way!) are NOT ways to train a dog. You are obviously not establishing yourself as a pack leader. Inflicting fear in a dog is NOT a way to establish that your her leader.

And with the peeing, did you have her checked for a UTI? She might not even be able to hold it if she has a bladder infection.

Are you letting the dog free range in the house? If so, thats another big problem. If you cant watch her, she needs to be in a kennel. She needs to be in a kennel when you are not home. And the kennel needs to be only big enough for her to stand up, turn around, and lay down stretched out. If she has too much room she will just choose a spot away from her, pee and then lay on a dry spot.

She needs to be on a leash 24/7. Attatch the leash to your belt, dont allow her to get away from you to be able to go off and pee. And once you see that she looks like she's about to squat, you scoop her up and take her outside immediately.

Heck, train her to pee pads! At least she'd have a spot in the house where she could go potty right away if she needed to.

Every dog can be rehabilitated and trained. Humans, that's a whole 'nother situation entirely.

That's not so pretty nice for both of you. Maybe you both have difficulties and shortness with each other and in practical ways, might be not all things will work out.

One best thing about your problem is to let others know about your situation with your dog is to talk about it with other persons. There are some I know that had almost the same problem there were other people around him to give a hand and information or tips on what to do.

First and foremost, Vets as a rule are not trainers. Far too many people ask Vets for info that simply put they know nothing about. Fact is most vets couldn't tell you the breed of dog you have unless they have seen the breed numerous times. Be reminded, their expertise in in animal medicine. You don't go to a gas station and ask them to fix your transmission! You don't go to a vet to ask advice on training.
The urinating can be due to several issues. I would suggest looking at contacting a trainer if the Vet has ruled out UTI. The dog obviously still has some insecurities and in many cases dogs urinate on things that they want to claim as theirs. This dog has had a horrible prior experience and this is being carried over. There are options if you seek the right people to ask.
I venture none suggested different leashes and halters to help. Why don't you check on line for optional harness and leads and leashes to help curb the pulling.
They actually do make them and they generally work quite well.

Red face I'm really sorry...

You've certainly been through the mill! I hope it's not too late, tho. As stated; my must crate this dog. Crate training is the only way to house train a dog. A good, large enough one can be found inexpensively. Be sure you have toys in the crate (absolutely when you're gone), and a waterproof pad with a bed on top. I'd even buy a couple (at least 3) baby crib "liners"--waterproof mattress liners--and put one on top of the bed. I had to take my German Shephard to Obedience School "TWICE"!! It's the Owner that needs the training. Going for a walk means "heal". Also, ANYoone else that deals w/the dog has to be on the same page: same commands ("NO" is only for meaning it; not ever used in normal language such as during play); OK for instance as a release command; and be consistant! It's taken me probably 5 years to get it through my family's heads (!) they have to do it the same way ALL the time! I now have a great German Shephard and a HUGE (126#) Golden Retriever that can practically read my mind with a few face or hand jestures. AGE has alot to do w/it. The Golden ate two complete sets of whicker furniture before he finally quit: age 2 l/2. They both still chew, but on the toys they're given. One more thing. When I bring out the crate now (rarely) the Shepard just loves it! Best of luck to you. Kat (Dilagent Mom)

Thanks Yogi! I forgot to post about halti's and gentle leaders. I use prong collars on my boxers but I'd NEVER put one on my min pins. Their necks are just too tiny.

halti's and gentle leaders, or any type of halter and lead is really the only way with a Pin that pulls.
Many assume that the patella issues are inherited but fact is that is rare. In most cases luxating patella is brought on by hard pulling which the hind legs cannot sustain thus knee cap can become detached. The weakest part of any dog no matter how large or small is the neck. Dogs under 10 to 15 lbs should be taught initially with a halter style system to avoid neck injuries as you noted, their necks are fragile.

Hello.
Sorry about this post. It was just a moment of anger Lola is still her with me. I couldn't give up and leave her at the shelter.
I do feel awfully bad for hitting my little girl. And hope she forgot about it or forgive me.
As for walking arrangements i let her leash free now in a big fenced area untill i find a solution.
I tried to crate train her when i got her but she kept crying.
Anyways i am sorry again

you want to know pulling - own a bullmastiffxstaffy!!!! every dog is trainable some are harder than others and it just takes longer to train them. it just needs to know your the 'leader'. if i can teach a 10 year old failed dog school 'so-called' untrainable labrador to come, go off the lead and come when called etc at the age of 13 i'm sure you can teach your dog. it just requires lots of time and praise and sometimes a few doggie biscuits. ITS NOT IMPOSSIBLE!!! DON'T GIVE UP!

How long have you been training her? I think you really care for the dog that you even rescue her. But, taking care of dog is not just spending money and she will not learn what you are teaching her if you keep on hitting her.

Never hit a dog. That will make her fearful of you ,and walking. Are you serious? What would make you hit a dog in the first place? Why don't you ask someone here about advice, and not rant on about problems that can be fixed?

In my opinion, your a iggnorent, dog owner who didn't have a clue about what she was getting into before she rescued a dog. Did you think breed? Grooming? Vet? The MONEY of a dog? I'm guessing you didn't my friend...

There's nothing wrong asking some people for advice and help especially if your dog is giving you a hard time. Maybe looking for a good trainer can help you understand more about your dog and how to solve your problem.

Good luck...

If you think you had enough then its ok to bring her to a shelter let someone take care of her, for me things like vet, trainers, foods are not enough... friendship and bonding is what dogs are looking.
