Well, I like Caesars training techniques a lot. Always successful with my dog.
And this probably sounds bad but, I don't like the way he treats dogs. Im not saying he abuses them. But he doesn't seem to love them and they get treated only as animals. Im not saying he should spoil them, but a dog needs some attention and love now and then! I can't really blame him though. I heard he grew up in some place where they had loads of dogs, but they were for work only. I don't know if this is true but if it is it does explain his harshness with dogs.
But like I said, hes a great trainer!
Now, I see everyone is also talking about Victoria... Well I don't watch the show much but I just find her to be really annoying. Her training doesn't seem so effective either.

According to his book, Cesar's Way, he grew up in rural Mexico and for some periods of time in a city in Mexico. Yes, on the farm there were packs of dogs that were not "pets", they were farm dogs. He's says this is where he learned about pack behavior.
