i am a new owner of the sweetest saint bernard puppy. I have never owned a saint before. His nose is dry & warm, is this normal for a saint ?

I just recently adopted a 4 year old Saint Bernard. Her name is Sammy also. Sometimes her nose gets warm and dry if she hasn't had a drink of water recently. Is she the dry-mouth type of saint bernard or the wet-mouth, like mine?

I think that is just normal, unless you see something like scratches or wound, and it is not hurtful for him if you touch it.
