Default When to convert puppy to adult diet??

Hi,
I have been thinking about this the last week or so. My puppy is currently on a puppy diet and she is almost 6months old now. I was wondering if anyone had experience in when to convert a puppy over to an adult diet? Does it affect my puppy's growth and or performance? My puppy is a GSD x Border Collie, that apart from the puppy diet, regularly recieves raw meaty bones. Very undecided and would appreciate any help!

Puppy's can be started on premium adult dog food from the beginning, no need for puppy food as long as its premium food and no junk

If you could consider a raw diet, that would be a great for you and your dog.

I agree with wishbone however..

Your pup should be on a good quality large breed puppy food until 8-9 months old.

I have a GSDxBC 6mnth old puppy. I was just wondering when to convert her to adult diet? She is on puppy food atm and recieving raw meat bones regularly as well. She runs around all day on our acreage block so needs the energy. Any positive/negative feedback...? I am undecided as I have heard conflicting information on changing or keeping her on puppy food.

I think it depends on the puppy food. Some of the Super Premium foods are great and are designed to grow puppies nice and slowly, but some are horrid and I wouldn't dare go near.
