I lost my dog, Rocket, for nine days while i was living in Atlanta, GA, a huge city, plus we were new to the area, so it seemed unlikely i'd ever see him again. Loosing Rocket was like loosing a child. Some people will never understand that. I was devastated. The not knowing is the worst. I think it's even harder than grieving for a pet who has died.

Against all odds, i found Rocket again. If i hadn't found him, i'd still be in Atlanta looking for him.

Hi guys, still no news of Cookie, i created new posters saying a large amount reward on it and still nothing....the thing is i do not know if she is even still in this area which means if she isn't the person who has her won't see the posters. Anyway I am certain someone has her and has no intention of giving her back. its a shame there are so few good people in the world...anyway please hope and pray everyone that she is safe and happy. thanks for all your messages!

feeling very sad today...just came back from a drive and saw that virtually all the posters i have put up recently have been taking down. its really pissing me off because its as if all odds are against me or something. and why cant people take dogs to get scanned when they pick them up? aren't there any good people left in the world. ive realised microchips are useless because they rely on people to do the right thing and most people today don't. i guess i just needed to vent. sorry guys, please pray for cookie being safe and hopefully a miracle happens and she returns, sooner rather than later.

Hi Jessica, I came across this post by google-ing my dog has gone missing. I appreciated your post. My dog, Bandit has been missing now for two weeks and I know exactly how you were feeling back in May '09. Have you found your dog since then? I really hope you have! I hope that I find my baby too! Here's my story, I had dog sitters watching Bandit in Wiesbaden, Germany. I myself am living in Heidelberg, Germany. The story that the dog sitters told me is that Bandit jumped out of the window of their slow moving vehicle in pursuit of a bunny rabbit. They did not go after him and they did not wait for him to return. They drove around the area and then they went home to their warm beds while my dog was lost out there by hisself. They did not bother trying to contact or the other people I gave them numbers to or the MP's. They just hoped that someone took him in and that he'd turn up at the Vet's office. And since he is microchipped they figured it would be easy for me to get him back. That did not happen, and nothing has been easy. They have not done one thing in effort to help get my dog returned to me. But I'm not losing hope. I pray at night that he is in a good home first of all and that I get him back soon. Thank you for sharing your post which encouraged me to share mine.
