yes that's right so many people wanted to adopt Oscar (my JRT) but in the end we found one person who has experience with JRT's she has one her self (previously 2) Oscar is in good hands now and I am sre of it, common 14acres has got to be big enough for this puppy!
----
Luca goes to the beach every morning, he loves it there especially playing with the other dogs, he prefers puppies though haha. Funny he's picky lol.

Corky/Max:
Wow I didn't know about the drinking bowl thing, it was given to me from Luca's previous owner...

Yeah they are, he has the cuddly side of the golden retriever personality but no sporting side haha... He gets tired with a 15min walk, he doens't swim he avoids the water unless its a bath, he doesn't fetch. lol... he got the golden part though.
He's so cuddly, he's let you stroke him all day. He's just happy enough o just lie around all day... he doesn'y have that access-no-where-to-go-energy unlike the other Golden who have lots of energy. But I don't mind him that way, I love him the way he is.
We recently joined the New Zealand Golden Retriever Club Inc. Should be fun, theres a labie vs Goldie match day coming up!

King Luca the Great looks great! Goldens are pretty active, protective dogs. What do you feed him?

Luca is on a half meat half dogfood diet, like half raw half dog food. He doesnt do so well on full meat but I am trying to get his stomach to settle a bit. If that even makes sense.
He is very protective of his family. Funny thing he doesn't bark etc.
Haha Luca is the opposite of energetic, he's a lazy couch potato we give him around 45min to 1hr exercise everyday though.

I hope you weren't just giving him just all meat before! A dog has to have carbohydrates and fats too for a balanced diet. For more info on things--click here: BARF for Beginners - Most Frequently Asked Questions
This is a site about info on raw feeding but will give you a lot of other information as well.

Hi Corky/Max,
no I'm not and wasn't feeding Luca all meat. I've done tons of research talked to vets, and talked to whole heap of other RAW feeders. That was one of the sites that someone told me and it was very useful.

DoggieDude:
HAHAHAHA Well I'm glad Luca knows he not allowed in the kitchen, he never steps more than 2 steps in the kitchen because he has been trained not to go in. When he does get in we say "out" and he goes away then peaks from the side of the bench haha.
Lunareclipse:
NO NO NO NO NOOOO He's my best friend and he stays with me!
But can I permanently borrow your dogs too lol don't know if I can fit 2 Snt Bernards in the house though!
dogbuddy: Yes I am very lucky to have him, he's a very nice and fluffy foot rest-er too hahaha.

Two St. Bernards and a Golden would definitely give you a run for your money :-p. I love big dogs, but I don't know if I could handle that much!
