Default Getting another pup from the same litter?

We got Levi about 2 weeks ago and he's fitting in just fine, but my sister wants to get his brother or sister from his litter. I have read good and bad about getting two dogs from the same litter, but since we are away from home a lot of the time during the school year (attend school about 45 mins. away from home, plus sports and such) maybe they could keep each other company... Or they could get aggressive.

Also, we have a baby in the house and Levi already gets jealous when my sister or I hold him and don't pay attention to him. Maybe Levi or the new puppy would get jealous of each other? I know training would be difficult, but Levi is progressing with his housetraining and he knows sit, down, come here, up, responds to his name and a whistle, but can't quite walk on a leash yet. Even though Levi was the last one out from the litter, he was the one who began to walk, run, and be active first, and he was the leader of the pack in his litter... Would this affect anything?

Any suggestions? Help?
Thanks :] and sorry for making the question so long

Default More info?

What would be very helpful to those of us who would really like to assist you with advice [I am one of them], is to know what breed and size of dog this is you are talking about.
Some people say that getting 2 pups from the same litter is not a good idea, but I as a breeder do not entirely agree. I frequently send 2 pups together to buyers, although I have to say that I do insist on them being the same sex when I do so.
If you are prepared to put in the time, for training, which it sounds as though you are already doing, and in giving them enough attention, then there is no problem, but that will depend very much on the breed.
The present puppy will be getting jealous of the baby because it is taking attention away from him, and he is an only dog. Getting him a playmate and companion should help quite a lot with that.

Getting from the same litter is fine according to what I mostly see. They are tend to be close and playful together, sometimes getting too close than a dog-owner relationship.
