Angry Dogs are better than cats!!!

My husband and I were outside on the 1st cleaning up the two Mustangs and this cat came wandering by. It stopped to say hi. Now I have had cats in the past and don't mind some, but my husband hates them. I bent down to pat it on the head and then it wouldn't go away. It then sprayed our neighbours car tire (we live in a townhouse style condo, so the vehicles are parked side by side), then a lavender bush on the other side of our one Mustang and that was it. We didn't need it doing that to our cars so I tried scooting it away and that didn't work so I had to bring out the big guns...I walked inside and grabbed both dogs. Now Cleo will just clean the cat as she loves cats but I have no idea what Storm would do. I didn't let the dogs actually get a hold of the cat, just their presence was enough. The cat ran away down the driveway and hid under another car. I hated doing that but it wouldn't go away. I shouldn't of pet it...anyway, I moved my Stang back out onto the street where I always park it and went inside for the rest of the day. Yesterday we were up early cause we were going on a road trip with my husbands boys and I had to grab something out of my trunk and as I walked up to my car I noticed that the stupid cat marked my passanger front wheel. Oooo I was mad. The next thing I did was call the humane society to come get him, fix him and adopt him out. I have seen this cat around before but he has never marked our vehicles so I never worried about it. We are very protective about our vehicles and dogs. I know that dogs will mark also but cats seem to be SO MUCH WORSE!!!! Anyway, dogs are better!

Dogs are not better than cats! Dogs are different than cats. I've raised them both and have loved them both.

Default dog v cat

Don't forget that dogs mark tires, trees, bush's and Mustangs also. My preference is towards dogs also but I don't like to see dogs or cats just turned loose in any neighborhood.

I totally agree with you. I guess I was just mad because it is always happening to our 98 Tahoe (doggie hauler) and it was the first time it has happened to my Stang and I am very protective. I hate when people allow their animals to roam free...especially cats that are not fixed. They seem to be the worst. I am sorry if I upset anyone. I was just mad.

True enough, responsible owners shouldn't let their pets roaming around freely in the neighborhood....it is possible that they may be harmed or can cause harm as well...
