Default Dog escapes from crate!

I just stumbled across this video of a 2-year-old Rottweiler who manages to break out of his crate. It's very cute, especially since I'm not the owner who has to come home to see any mayhem caused after he escapes.

I love how he seems to "tip-toe" out of the crate when the door is open! I think he knows he's not meant to be doing this!

I think he'd be a certified dog genius if he figured out how to get back into the crate and lock it up.

those wire crates are garbage when it comes to bigger dogs. i had two of them and they were destroyed within about 4 months. what a waste of money. The heavy duty plastic ones are better. Even my puppy at about 7 months could get out.

I had a dog like that. I had to put a lock on the handle of the cage to keep him from getting out of it.

Wow! It takes a smart dog to figure out how to "liberate himself" from his crate. Couldn't stop laughing watching him do it!

I think that kind of incident can be minimized or avoided if they used dog fences.
