We had to put our 15 1/2 yr. old german shephard/yellow lab mix dog down in April and are ready to take a new one into our lives but do not know where to find one of this mix? Any suggestions? Our beloved Maggie was a stray in our neighborhood who came to us. Thank you.

I have never used this but could you 'advertise' on Craig's list on the net?? Also you could call/go to Humane Societies, etc and ask! If you go to these places and there isn't that mix that you want, lol, some needy dog might catch your eye anyhow!!

I thought that's a rare breed but who knows. Yeah try to call or visit shelters and rescue centers to see which dog would truly capture your heart no matter his/her bloodline...
