I will go look at Petco today. Maybe it will help me along in training Buster.

I was telling some friends about the name, "Look Here Buster - Buster for short." Everyone thought it was a riot!

BTW, the clicker was yet another of my dog training failures. Bailey completely ignored it. Lara chewed up the plastic part after I'd put it down on the coffee table and she decided it would make an interesting chew toy.

Well, I am going to try one. They are only $2.00 at our local pet store. I have to try something different to get Buster interested in training. His only interest is lounging about.

All in all, a smart boy. Why do something when nothing will do just as nicely?

lol, his laziness has made Sammie drag him on most of his walks. If he doesn't walk, she grabs his leash and drags the poor guy. She likes it when we walk down to our best friend's house to play with his dog Katie. She gets impatient when he wants to lay down and she wants to go.

He sure is. Very, very stubborn too. He learns extremely fast on the few days he's not being stubborn.

I tried the clicker thing. It was a joke. All he did was go lay down and ignore me. I think I am going to go get some sticks out of the yard and use those for training. He seems to like sticks. The bigger, the better.

Well, that is just about what happened with Bailey. Then, Lara settled the matter once and for all by chewing it up! At least it only cost you two bucks. That Buster of yours is a real character!

Yes, he is. He got excited about something this morning and stepped on me while I was sleeping, and now I have big scratches and bruises on one of my legs. Big lug!

clicker training
Using a clicker is something that you have to be patient with. This website does a good job with explaining the idea and there are some videos on there too. Start Clicking | clickerworks.com
