ok stop barking at me! i came here for help.
there are 4 of us in my family so someone is with her most of the time but when were not shes in my daughters room.
i came asking for advise of any products to use.
i have now been on the internet looking and found that you can use Chlorophyll.
now can anybody tell me anything about this. is it safe, how soon would i have to use it and any idea where i may find it in the uk. it was known as 'no mate'
i really dont think penetration is the issus as she is so small, one yelp and believe me my boys would go running off. well before anything would happen. but i know this is beside the point. i am as concerened of them grabbing her then i am about penetration. she really is tiny
she is 4 years old and was used for breeding and showing but she wouldnt look after her pups, hense the breeder selling her with restrictions to breeding on her paper. though recently i had a message passed on to me that she would lift the restrictions but she would have all but one puppy. short of wanting to throttle her i have not been in touch due to the fact its my 10 year old daughters dog and she is just starting out showing. and the fact the breeder has been showing and judging for 25 years there is a good chance she could spoil many future shows for her. so i have to keep my mouth shut. the pups could of easily lived if she had bothered to feed them herself. but thats beside the point we have no intentions on breeding her anyway.
for showing purposes you are not ment to spay or neuter a dog because it ment to be the breed line. but i really dont think they will notice.
we have only recently had her so we missed spaying her as it is done inbetween seasons.
so what are the cons of having her spayed????

Damage can easily be caused if one of those larger dogs attempted to mate with her.

Right. Now that I've seen the pictures of the two males, I can see how it would be a problem!

I thought dogs could be spayed or neutered for junior class shows...

Dogs can be altered IF being used only for Junior showmanship. If she is showing in breed conformation, they are not to be altered. Conformation is to judge the dogs quality as a breeding stock animal, altering would defeat the purpose. Also showing is expensive, so why spend that kind of money to show a dog who will never be able to pass along its traits even if it were to finish?
Ok, while obviously, seperating them is the obvious answer, I was simply answering the specific question she was asking.
Even when seperated sompletely the male can still smell the female and will attempt to get to her. Even if he cannot, the whining, barking, and crying can drive you nuts, lol.
The pill, as I do believe it was the Chlorophyll, btw. Was not suggested as the only answer, but it is used by show people in when they have a female in season that is not going to be bred (you obviously WANT the scent if you plan to use a stud on her) and is entered in shows. It is quite a sight to have a girl in season on the crowded show grounds with males all around. Tends to make the males act up, etc......so they use the pill to eliminate/decrease the scent in order to keep the peace when showing.
It is safe to use, show people would not use anything that would harm or alter the females future in conceiving.
If the OP purchased this dog for show, it is also very likely she has a contract with the breeder than includes she not be spayed for obvious reasons. So suggesting that option would not be feasible.

so what are the cons of having her spayed???? | I'm not barking, purely saying it how it is, I can't stand it when people don't educate themselves on keeping entire dogs before they choose to get one. It is a whole world apart from a neutered dog/bitch. As she is so small compared to your other two, it is even more of a reason to separate, be wary of fights breaking out between your two males also (And don't think they will have just one fight and it be over, they hold grudges, we have dogs here that are neutered and they still fight over "their" neutered bitches, after one fight they can't go back together and if they do they are literally in for the kill). If you are showing her in breed class and you neuter her then there is absolutely no point showing her, as has been mentioned though she can be neutered for junior showmanship/handler class. Check out the thread by Stu C further down the page in this section, there is a few posts on neutering pro's/con's in there.

Oh and it's also worth noting, Chlorophyll was developed to use on a show day, so should only be used a maximum of 3 times a week. It has also been known to cause UTI's.
