What kind of puppy is this???
Hey! I admit I joined here because I can't figure out what kind of puppy this is, and my husband and I are interested as we've been thinking of adding an indoor dog to our home. (We do already have an awesome German Shepherd!) I've guessed this is a Day Boston Terrier, but I can only find them in black and white or brindle. Any ideas from anyone here?
If the below link doesn't work, you can see the puppy I'm talking about on the Pedigree website. Google Pedigree + healthy immunity
He is the dog on the can. He is also in a print ad in Better Homes and Gardens.
PEDIGREE PLUS? Healthy Immunity Choice CutsŪ | Premium Wet Dog Food
Thank you sooo much!!!

Hey I'm thinking the same breed and I didn't see this post until after guessing it on your other post! Even commented on the color thing but I found some with an all black face on the links I left you on other post!

Being that the Boston Terrier comes in Black n White, Brindle n White and occasionally Brown n White, this could actually be a different breed. There are some European breeds that we do not see here regularly so this could be in that group. Even the French Bull Dog resembles the pic but again, no solid black.

He looks like boston terrier for me too, but I sometimes see he got some pug face. Anyway, it seems like a drawing and not a direct picture of a dog.

About the Boston Terrier
Quoting from my Book on Breeds:
History:
--The Boston Terrier's direct forebears are English and French Bulldogs and the White English Terrier. It was developed in the U.S. only about 150 years ago as a fighting dog, a pastime that has since been outlawed. Although it is still always ready to scrap with other dogs, its behavior toward people is not aggressive.
Temperament:
Playful and very affectionate, they like to be part of the family. They are reliable with children, intelligent, easy to train and, despite being relatively small, make excellent watchdogs.

Boston Terriers are not solid black. French Bulldogs look similar to Bostons. They can be solid black, but that color is looked down on by the AKC. They can be brindle, and the black brindle is so dark that it can appear to be solid black. This isn't a Boston, though, their white markings and patterns are their trademark.
