What you have is actually an Italian Greyhound, not a mini one. Sorry no such thing.
The breed in itself at that age is very susceptible to injuries whether spinal or legs. If the matter persists I would highly recommend a vet visit to rule out any serious issues.
Teething may slow down the eating but not so much that it would cause the pup to yelp if handled.
This breed has very fine legs and could have easily pulled a muscle or tendon. Though these are not very visible on an x-ray at this age it is not uncommon.
