The baby
I left the baby in the living room for a sec to go get a drink in the kitchen. When I came back in the living room, I couldn't find her anywhere. I looked all over the house. I was about to flip out when Buster started barking. She was in the crate with Buster. She told me she went to "Bubu's house". I thought I was going to die laughing, first with relief and second about the hilarity of the situation. I had no idea I had locked her in the crate with Buster.

Lol, another chapter for your book on Buster. He is a smart dog even if he is full of mischief most of the time! At least he 'told' you where she was! Seriously, glad nothing bad happened ----He didn't sit on her ---probably smart enough to know not to do that!

I hope you're keeping a journal and writing down all these things. I'm looking forward to seeing "Life of Buster" hit the store shelves! Can I have a signed copy?

If it wasn't for Buster, I would be bored silly. He can be frustrating at times, but he has a way that makes you laugh about it later.

I am surprised there was enough room in there for Buster and the baby...

You should see it when both Luna and Buster try to get in the crate. It looks like the crate is going to explode. Kinda reminds me of the time Fluffy and Mr. Grumpy Whiskers got into a fight inside a paperbag once.

the site of 2 cats going at it inside a paper bag I know all too well. With 11 cats and the grocery bags I bring in, needless to say I love leaving a few of them out just to watch the chaos. It is near as funny as when I bring out their laser light.:-D

Oh, those laser lights are very helpful when it comes to providing your cat with exercise. My Aunt's cats go nuts for those things! Do you think that they frustrate them though?

My cats don't chase laser lights. They do love the milk rings off of milk jugs though. I cleaned under the fridge and found about 20 of them.

My Lance chases laser lights. The cat couldn't care less.

I did bring it out one early morning figuring since the dogs had all gone back to their crates I would play with the cats. Unfortunately it woke Zeke my German Pinscher and when he saw the little red dot he went nuts. He ended up attacking it so hard he bit the carpet thinking he had the dot and came up with a piece of carpet in his mouth. There is a hole there now. So I generally reserve the laser for late nights when the dogs are all in bed...

lol. Don't you wish that you had a video camara as part of your anatomy sometimes? You never have one when you need one.

Unfortunately if I did, I would be filming 23 hours a day. The cats luckily are no nocturnal so they sleep at night but the pups, well they are an all nite event at 6 weeks (one litter) and 8 weeks (the other litter). Never a dull moment.

no it did not...but after awhile after looking back at this 40lbs pile of muscle running over the cats to get to it, I had to have a good laugh.

Sorry to hear, I would have loved for you to have one of them. She would have definitely been great for the little one and given the St's a lesson in how to deal with small dogs.
You would have loved it last night, she was running around the living room trying to tackle several of the cats. She went after Biscuit one of my large male Manx cats. I first thought that this would not be a good idea as he is about 16lbs and literally very strong. What I saw next just cracked me up. Instead of getting aggressive with the upstart pup, Biscuit rolled over onto his side and with both front paws, grabbed the puppy by the side of her head and literally dragged her into him and started nibbling on her head. Her tail was wagging the whole time. She finally got loose after about a minute and proceeded to launch herself right back on to him where they proceeded to wrestle for several minutes until she became distracted by her sister Tilly.
