I am new to forums and continue to get lost when getting around in here.

I was a veterinary nurse for 8 years and love many pets, at the same time over the years my heart has been broken with the loss of my own pets.

I came here to share in your community, it helps me, to know that their are people who care deeply for their dogs as I do.

My dog toby is my best friend and I worry because he is getting old now, I know I will not cope when its his time, so I make the best of the time he and I have left.

I would like to make friends, and welcome anyone who would like to befriend me.


Last weekend I went to a council funded day in the park, it had good music and we all parked ourselves on the grass. It was down by the beach on a nice sunny day, but the best part was lots of us people brought our best friend with 4 legs along. Some dogs had been for a swim in the ocean and were enjoying being their in the sun and fresh air.

I had the best time talking to and enjoying the company of owners and dogs. I wish you could have seen what I saw, dogs everywhere enjoying the day and having well behaved fun, it makes my heart jump for joy.


Their was big and little, all adorable, happy and friendly.

It just makes me think just how important these doggy friends are to my happiness and the happiness of others.

I am not ashamed to say I love dogs, and I am glad to share that love with like minded people like you all.

Thanks for reading this, I wish you all could have been there with me to share in this wonderful heart warming day. Smiles really are great for our heart and soul.
