Special games/training. What does your dog do?
My Daughter has taught our Chocolate lab (Jonezy) to play hide and seek.
They put him in the bathroom with the door cracked just a little bit and he stays there until they call him with a certain call. He then opens the door and searches for my daughter and her friends all over the house. One by one he will sniff out each of the children and when they are all found he goes back to the bathroom without being told and the children adjust the door. Repeat process! He will play all day if you let him and the kids just love it!
Such a great dog!

That's funny
I play hide and seek with Lucky sometimes too. She is very good at it. I'll keep her upstairs aqnd call her to come down into the basement. A few weeks ago I hid behind a table and covered myself with blankets. She found me in like 2 minutes Stuck her little nose under the table and licked me
I also love to get under the covers on the bed and she jumps up and tries gto get under too
Besides that, Lucky also likes to play fetch with tennis balls A LOT!

My kids:
Bailey oversees her realm and chases the odd squirrel when the mood strikes her.
Lara is 100% tennis ball crazy. She would chase a ball to the end of the earth and back. She and Bailey also protect my friend Karin's rescue pigeons from any dogs who might want to harm them.
Lance loves food more than life itself.

My Lucky sounds EXACTLY like your Laura. She is absolutely 110% OBSESSED with tennis balls! She chases them at the dog park for an hour straight and still looks for more! She generally drops it for me to throw it to her but she also likes to play the occasional game of keep away where she drops it and when I go to pick it up she dashes off with it She also likes to bury it. It's very funny when she pounces on it and bats it around. People say she plays with her ball like a cat

Buster is too stupid to do anything like that and Sammie is too old, and Luna is drugged up half the time. Why can't I have a normal dog?

And here I thought we were the only silly people standing behind doors, sitting under the piano, standing in the closet, etc and hiding from our dog! LOL
Bella loves hide and seek too - we tell her to sit and stay and then we run and hide in strange places all around the house. She has a blast! (Well, okay, we have fun too.) Besides that, she does the usual stuff - sit, stay, lie down, go to bed, be quiet, get a toy, sing, etc. As far as tennis balls, she's only 6 lb and getting a bite on one would be tough for her. She loooooves her little squeaky ball though!

I have a tennis ball nut as well. I use the ball as a training tool. Lol. Forget the treats, the ball works better. My kids taught the dog to go down the slide at the local park. I take him there and he happily climbs up the structure (not a ladder) and slides down, over and over and over. It is a covered slide , it is really funny to see this big dog come popping out the entrance.

Lucky ESPECIALLY LOVES squeeky balls too! I she hears one at the dog park she'll drop her regular ball and run right over and steal it from the other dogs lol

I always bring out water and treats when we go out to play. Lara is the only one who is so obsessed with her tennis ball that she isn't even interested in her share of the treats!!! She'll wait until she's just about gasping before she'll even take a long enough break to have a drink of water.

My dog plays "hide and seek" too... we have her look for a certain person so my hubby will be like: go find mommy and she finds me in like 2 sec. and visa versa. She loves doing tricks im working on "praying" right now... she puts her front two paws up and bows her head, i think its going to be really cute.
