Sassy passed away today at about 1:10pm, I was holding her. She got to the point where she had to hold her head up in the air and lay over her favorite vent. I even put her a fan infront of her face to help her out. I layed down beside her and pet her and told her how much i loved her and told her that she was the best dog in the world and that i would miss her so so so so so so so much, and i was rubbing her and she was looking at me like, i love you too mommy but im so tired.... and she got up after that and layed down at the other vent and then went and layed under the bed, but i got her out and took her back to her other vent and when i put her on the floor, she fell over and was struggleing for her breath, but I then got her favorite blanket and wrapped her up in and sat in the middle of the floor while me, my mom and my dad and my other animals said our goodbyes, and we all cried and cried and cried and cried and cried and cried and we just hugged her and held her.................. My husband makes tombstones for a living, and he is going to make one especially for her.

I am very sorry for your loss as well. Just remember, you gave that dog one great life and she is in a better place now. I'm sure you'll both be reunited at the gates of Heaven.

Thank you both so much, I didn't think it was going to be anywhere near this hard. We are going to have her a funeral tomorrow. My lord this is a miserable feeling..

thank you so much, that just brought chills to my whole body, i am so glad i joined this forum, you all are helping me get through this.

my poor baby is gone and i feel so lost without her.

You are all so amazing. Thank you so much. We are going to burry her today. We are going to build her a special casket and put some of her favorite things in there.

Today is going to be so hard.

I belong to a pug forum also, and we always do that. It's a very beautiful thought to think of candles all over the world memorializing these babies when they pass, the candles helping to light their way.
