Lightbulb Dog Hair on Clothes? (also lint)

Just saw this hint in my latest Woman's Day magazine:
Put down your lint roller. And forget about pressing "repeat" on your washer and dryer until it comes out (it won't). Take a yard of cheap nylon net and throw it into your wash with the fuzzy items. Instead of spreading all over the place, the lint and hair will head straight for the net.

Anyone ever try those link rollers they specifically design for pet hair. Lucky isn't much of an issue because of her short coat.

Default Netting for dog hair

Wow, what a great tip! I have never heard of that. I rely on the lint roller and of course it has a hard time keeping up with dog hair on fleece. I have one friend who wears her "dog fur" fleece jacket when we take the dogs out for a walk. She just cannot get all of the hair off it it. I'll be sure to try this tip myself and pass it on to Kate.

Lightbulb

Got this idea as I was taking a shower tonight! Don't know how well this may work---How about one of those 'nylon net scrubbers' you shower with (Lol, I never throw anything away--I had an old one still hanging in my shower). May not work as good as a big piece of the 'net' I mentioned in my 1st post above but for now--it is something I have on hand and might be worth a try--experiment!

Also just remembered this: Worked in a returns department and used masking tape---you know the tan colored big roll of this (not duct tape!)--Just take a wide strip of this and 'blot' the dog hairs off. This is way to do it if you still want to wear yet before washing!

Here's what I do:

Keep all black items firmly enclosed in plastic.
When choosing to wear black clothing, lock dogs in bedroom. Put on black items in front hall. Have purse, keys, etc. within easy grabbing distance. Let dogs out of bedroom. Run like hell for the front door!

I use packing tape..big wide clear...everything sticks to it. And it does not harm clothing. You can even bring it in the car for those last second touch ups
