This is very common and simply related to upset stomach or blockage in their system. It is a way to clear it up. So long as the grass has not been treated with chemicals, let them have at it. I have grazers in my pack that every few days will go at it, where others maybe once in awhile. Some will pass it others will throw it back up. Figure in a sense it is fiber like when we eat salads, this is theirs of choice.

Default My puppy eats it when nervous

I have noticed Hercules starting to eat grass whenever he starts to get a bit nervous. I don't think it is a big deal as long as the grass is free of chemicals etc.

Our Rosy eats grass when she feels she needs to get rid of something nasty inside. She always throws up after eating it. Its as thou they know they need to clear themselves out and the only way they know to do this is to eat grass.

It's normal for dogs to eat grass, sometimes they are entertained from being bored or just using the grass relieve from teething or aching gums.
