This is very common and simply related to upset stomach or blockage in their system. It is a way to clear it up. So long as the grass has not been treated with chemicals, let them have at it. I have grazers in my pack that every few days will go at it, where others maybe once in awhile. Some will pass it others will throw it back up. Figure in a sense it is fiber like when we eat salads, this is theirs of choice.
