Lucky Is 3!
Hey guys!
Just though I'd let you all know that today is my dog 3rd birthday. Lucky is 3 years old now.
My family and I are having a little birthday party for her that we have every year I put together. We are going to be going over to my grandparent's house within the next hour or so to celebrate.
I actually made both a people cake and a dog cake. let's hope no one get them mixed up lol...  The dog cake actually looks pretty cool. I'll take a pic of it and post it and other photos from the party here later tonight. The cake I made is made out of flour, eggs, a small amount of sugar and vanilla, a ground beef patty chopped up, and water. My grandma and I baked it and them we iced it with peanut-butter and spelled out Lucky on the front of it with small slices of apple. Have the 3 dandles on there as well. Not sure how she's going to blow them out though lol...
I also just got finished filling up about 30 water balloons at the expense of my sanity lol... I will set them in the yard and Lucky will run around and pounce on them and pop them. We did this last year. She has a lot of fun and water will probably feel good in these hot temperatures.
Got her some gifts at the pet store too. We actually got her a bag on venison bones and grandma got her a few small bully sticks. We wrapped them in newspaper. Lucky loves to tear them open and does a great job at that! Could probably send this in to America's Funniest Animals/Home Videos.
