Does anyone believe that dogs can tell if a person is good natured or not? I was in a long distance relationship for 10 months and my dog HATED the guy I was seeing, and my puppy loves everyone. Whenever he came over she would cower away from him or sit on my lap and growl at him as if she was protecting me. It turns out he cheated on me with 10+ girls throughout the ten months we dated and is a complete psycho. I'll be listening to my little Missy about people from now on.

dogs are extremely intuitive. My dog is extremely dog and people friendly and the few times she has growled at a person i listen to her!!

I believe this as well. Some say dogs have other senses that make up for sense us humans have that they do not. Some feel dogs have some sort of a psychic like sense. Not saying I believe all of that but it does honestly make you wonder...

I agree. My dogs are all excellent judges of character when it comes to humans. With other dogs, not so much.

Yes. Cassie has it in for ONE particular pair of teen boys that occasionally walk past our back fence and I'm sure if she was left to do something she might bite them in the backside and I would so let her do it, they look like trouble. But she's such a suck around everyone, except for those 2.

Yeah I thought too these intuition is not just seen on television or movies but truly a dog's natural instinct.

I think they can sense energy and smell fear, things like that. Perhaps they can sense much more. I know if my dog does not like someone, I take notice.

Dogs definitely feel things that people do not, especially weather. They are very sensitive to storms and changes. They can even sense earthquakes.
