Sorry I haven't been around for a while. Our home has become a dark home these last few weeks. One of my twins has a cancerous brain tumour and is at SickKids now preparing for radiation treatment. The downward spiral came on quickly and we are praying daily that she will come back to us. But since we are hardly home now and so worried about our little 4 year old, we've had to rehome both Rupert and Cassie. Where we were once 7 in the house leaving trails, we are now down to just me and my other twin and we drive to Toronto as often as we can and I have so much on my plate trying to keep the household going while my baby fights for her life. We REALLY miss our dogs but we know it's for the best.....spending a day in a crate or us not being here for a day is just not responsible pet ownership. So take care everyone!! So sorry to hear about your little girl--hoping for the best. Sorry also to hear of you having to rehome your Rupert and Cassie--maybe you can get them back when things improve. Hope you stay with the forum--dogs or no dogs. Hate to see you leave. Good luck with everything.

I'm so sorry that you have had to give up your dogs but sorrier still to hear about your child. Having a sick child puts everything else into perspective. I hope and pray that she makes a full recovery.
