Default Buster growls!

Today, for the first time, I heard Buster growl. We had the front door open and there was someone out front on our sidewalk talking on a celphone. And Buster growled at them. Maybe he didn't like the way the dude looked. But, ironic as it seems, I trusted Buster's instincts and closed the front door. As soon as the door was closed, he laid down and went back to taking his afternoon siesta. I watched the dude from the window and he walked on down the sidewalk. I reopened the door after a little while and some more people walked by and Buster didn't growl at them. Maybe Buster thought the dude talking on was phone was standing in a threatening pose or something.

I would say that was great but when it comes to Buster do we have any idea why he does anything at all.....

I have no clue why he does most of the crap he does. I don't think he does either.

I don't think that Buster is nearly as dumb as you think he is. I think he sensed that that there was something not good about that guy and he tried to let you know that in the only way he knew how.

I do believe you are right. That's why for the first time ever, I trusted Buster.

Yeah, trust him. I learned some bad things about someone my dog had taken a disliking to. Sometimes they just know.
