I've trained a few and yes they are very stubborn but I have to sat they're quick learners...I had one who's owner had four off them,all rescues.Well the one she brought to me for training was a complete nightmare but it was totally her fault..
She treated him like he was a baby,let him get away with absolutely anything including going to the bathroom in the house and he was 3 yr.s old! All she did was complain about how he was destroying everything,peeing in the house and just about every other bad behavior you can think off..It didn't matter what I told her,she didn't follow through with anything...however when I would give him commands he would do it the first time and it just astonished her..I tried over and over to tell her it's because he saw me as an alpha and new he couldn't get away with stuff with me...Needless to say he was one of the very few dogs I've flunked out of obedience class.
The sad thing was he was just the sweetest dog and had so much potential but sadly an owner who was an idiot!

Whenthe dog flunks out so does the owner...She tried to bring him back to me a few months later and I refused her.

LOL I sure should have...Instead I told her when she's willing to follow through with the work and do the things I tell her she needs to do then I would reconsider...off course she never came back!

Thanks I think he's pretty handsome myself lol...i got lucky when I took the new pics...he knows when you're trying to take his pic and usually turns his head right when you snap it...Little brat!!
