Gotta love it!
So I'm talking to my mom today and she asked me how Seigi was enjoying the cooler weather...Well we get to talking about him in general and I was telling her how he still won't bark yet except when we're playing with him...Well she proceeds to give ME the entire history of Akita's down to the fact that they don't bark unless they have a reason...Well no Duh!!..
Keep in mind it was ME who bred them not her...She bred GSD's...Well moms almost 70 so I let her go on and on about all she knew...Then I tell her I'm impressed at what she knows about them and she must've been doing research or paying attention to what I had taught her about Akita's all these years...
What does she say to that? Nope I was bored one night and there was nothing on T.V but a show about Akita's...Gotta love it!!!

Well you know how it goes. When you are 16, your parents are the dumbest people you know. When you are 30, they know everything and you cannot figure out when or how that happened.

Oh that is so true...I think she figures since she taught me so much about breeding why the heck should she listen to me? Who cares if we both bred different breeds...I think it's also because she's a total smart a**!

In my case, I tell my mother and sister about something and eventually my mother tells me what I told her, forgetting I already told her and credits my sister for finding the information.  Gotta love it as well.

For as long as I bred Akita's only my mother would learn about the breed her own daughter bred on TV and then tell her the info like she discovered it all on her own!
