Default Poor Porter

We think Porter might have had one of those electric fence collars at one time. He gets so scared and tries to hide when something beeps, like the microwave or the stove or Ryan's watch. I have been working on it though. I set the timer on the microwave and when it's about ready to go off, I put a treat in front of Porter's face. When the alarm goes off, I give him the treat. I told Ryan to make sure the alarm on his watch is off when he's at home so the dog don't freak.

Aww poor Porter. My sister in law has a 3 legged beagle that is scared to death of horns, like the ones from semi trucks. But he was hit by a semi truck, thats why he only has 3 legs... so its totally understandable.

Im not a big fan of those electric collars.

It's working. He no longer flips out when the microwave beeps, but he does look at it now rather than running all over looking for a place to hide.
