First snow
Kuma had her first experience with snow! At first she was cautious stepping & sniffing. Then after a few minutes she started to enjoy it.

My dog loves the snow. I live in an apartment and she lit up when she saw the snow on my balcony. It's fun watching our dogs explore and have fun.

We are severly dissappointed. 30 minutes south of us saw 4 inches of snow and we didn't see 1 single snowflake. We picked today to go get our tree because it was supposed to snow and we got ripped off. On top of that I got pine tar matted in my hair. I am so glad to see pics of your pooch in the snow though. Maybe we will get snow here soon.

Love especially that 1st pic of Kuma! Does she like being picked up and cuddled? Lol, that is what I'd like to do with her--little teddy bear! What does she weigh?
Hey Luna, You can have all the snow I got---6 to 7'' came down in less than a 24 hr period. Sorry guys but I would be happy with no snow at all! I know--Bah humbug! I think my Max doesn't care much for it either--course he has seen a lot of snow, being almost 12 yrs. old and hey, this is Wisconsin--We usually get a lot of snow here every winter. The little stinker will not do his 'job' unless I shovel paths and make a few bare areas for him. The snow is about up past the bottom of his belly otherwise.

Lovely pics!!! My Lara decided very early on that snow was the enemy. She growls and snaps at falling snowflakes and shakes her feet every few steps. Bailey will happily lay down in a snowbank at -18 degrees C and just watch the world go by...

Thank you ladies!
C/M, she absolutely LOVES cuddles from people! Just prepare yourself for lots of ear kisses and a wiggling furball at your feet. She is too hard to hold for long, last time I weighed her she was 50lb.
I'm like you, Luna & Ree, I love December snow. But once Feb. hits I'd rather it pass us by. LOL You must get a ton of snow your way Lara's mom. Brrr!

Today is the first snow that has stayed on the ground. It's early for snow here. It's going to be a long cold winter.

A year ago already... She is growing up to be an amazing girl. I realize now all the work I put into her is really paying off as she's maturing. Funny how just a year ago I was worried about this or that. I remember wondering if she would ever stop piddling when she met someone nice. LOL Thank God that is a big, YES! It's fun coming on here and running into old posts.

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"
