OMG! Maggie (the golden/tannish dog) looks so much like my golden retriever/cocker spaniel mix (Corky) that had to be put to sleep this past June! Is she all golden retriever? I love that breed. How old is she? Do you know how much she weighs? I just rescued a golden/cocker mix female-- Sami) looking for another like Corky. They are hard to find but your Maggie has the look I love.

You have a lot of healthy looking dogs but I can only see Maggie right now---Beautiful dog--Of course I am prejudiced !!

haha Thanks! Actually Ruby is the tan dog you are talking about. Maggie is the black lab. Ruby is actually an Australian Shepherd mixed with a variety of bird dogs. She does have a little bit of Golden in her though. She is almost 9 years old and she weighs about 45lbs.
I get that a lot though. Ruby does look like a Golden in pictures, especially when the sun is shining on her but in person she looks more like an aussie.

Ruby sure does remind me of my Corky! You said she has a little Golden and also a variety of bird dogs---Cocker Spaniels are bird dogs too! I'd love to see more pics of her if you ever have any more to show! My Corky had both looks of the Golden and the Cocker. He definitely had the coat of a Golden and the face was a mix of both breeds--His muzzle/'snout' was shorter than a golden--more like a cocker. The Golden part of him was not just some of the 'looks' but his character and 'expressions--had the legs of a golden too, only a little shorter. I sure miss him. You can check him out on my profile page in my album if you like. The other dog is a full cocker (Max). Max is going to be 12 on April 1st. A lot of these pics were younger days. And now I have the Golden/cocker girl (Sami)--Am taking pics of her to put in here but will be a while. She had an operation for cancer and just took the Elizabethian collar off her today so the pics I have taken so far are all with that darn collar on.

I don't think she has any Cocker Spaniel in her. The main breeds are aussie, English Setter, and lab. The dad was lab and setter and the mom was an aussie who had, I think 2 other breeds mixed in her.
