Going to attempt to put some pics here--been having problems with albums!
A few more to go but, lol, prob.a lot more new positions she will be showing---Gets a lot of exercise this way! And NO--She's not dead in those last 2 pics!--LOL!
Well she's certainly making herself comfy in her forever home isn't she! I love the pic where she is half on the sofa, half on the coffee table. Her coat is amazing, really beautiful girl.

Outside of a dog a book is man's best friend. Inside a dog it's too dark to read!
Yes, she sure is at home here--and sleeps almost anywhere--other places include under the kitchen table, couple beds in the kitchen, another bed in the liv. room and about 4 places in the bedroom. Lol, the 1st time in the door of my house--She immediately made a 'beeline' to my bed and jumped on it--Made her get off and she hasn't tried once since to get there----Minds very well. She also went in 'My Chair (living room) and still eyes it every so often but I say No and she moves away. I sure would like to know her background and birthday, etc. She acts like she had a good life somewhere--Wonder if she got lost or what! Has never made any potty mistakes in the house either. The only thing--She didn't like it when I first had to leave her at home with Max while I did some shopping. She had managed to jump on the kitchen table so she could look out the window and knocked everything off. But she got over that problem about the 2nd time I left her. Max was there and he is very use to me leaving him when I need to go somewhere. (He should be as he has been here over 10 yrs.)--It prob. helped Sami as Max is pretty 'laid-back' about it all. I also feel like she has always belonged here and it has only been 2 months!
LOL That is too cute. Does she actually sleep with her paws in the air? That girl IS right at home! I'm glad she is being a good girl for you. You can't blame them for trying 'once' to get the comfy places.
Since you don't know her birthday did you ever consider giving her one? You could leave the year blank and fill in the rest....Just a thought.
A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"
Yeh, lol, She does sleep like that, but not for long as she is changing positions all the time! Actually all the pics I took of the positions---She was sleeping in those positions--But as soon as I quickly got the camera locked on her--She'd wake up but I'd get her before she moved.
Just went out in the kitchen to stir some food ---Sami is out there laying on one of the doggie beds--Had to go around her as she also has this habit of actually moving the doggie beds where ever she wants them--crazy dog. She does this with the one in my bedroom too--positions it so she can keep an eye on me I think.
I guess I will give her a birthday---was kind of thinking of going by the astrology signs which would prob. be Libra or Sag. Lol, maybe I should go with the new sign! But, I think I will just go with the date I brought her home which was Dec. 6 and just guessing at her being 10 yrs. old--give her the year 2000. That kind of works 'good' too as Corky = 1998 and Max = 1999. Lol, done!
Just had to come back and say this: I just went to let the dogs out for last potty call--so when Sami got off the doggie bed that she had moved to her own placement--I moved it where it belongs. When I let them back in house---Before I could even get back to the living room, lol, she had it moved right back in the 'cockeyed' place she had it before! Little dickens but oh so lovable too.

LOL She sounds adorable. I guess Sami will be an Ophiuchus from now on. My own changed to Aries...not sure if I agree. I plan on staying Taurus till I die. Which only makes me feel more Taurus like

Lange, You have me laughing out loud and there is nobody here but my 2 dogs!--So true though--those last 2 comments. And I don't think the new sign fits Sami and I have decided to go with the day I adopted her--Her new life starting over kind of thing.--Although I wish that day was in Libra or Sagittarius as I think she has a lot of those traits.
Dah! Had to come back here as it finally dawned on me, lol, after 4 days---that Dec 6 (the day I adopted Sami) is in Sagittarius so that date works good!--Fits her really well!

REE--You should see all the pics I rejected! And then there are times when you get a pic that was not planned---Like the one below that Corky just happened to be right there in the middle of the flowers I was taking pics of. That pic actually got chosen for the May month in my local dog shelter calender--a few years ago.
LANGE---Lol, yeah, they are spoiled---but I love them so much--There is hardly anything I wouldn' do for them! Lol, I bet you are the same way too.
Like trying to not have Sami have that rabies shot----It gets decided on at the village board meeting tonight. I will be there with hopefully enough ammunition but I have my doubts that it will make much difference--Prob plan on voting it down anyhow----7 board members to vote on it---but at least I will have tried! Wish me luck everybody! Will let you know what happens.
