His nads
We are supposed to go get him fixed at 6 months. When will he get his nads? He doesn't have any right now. I don't want to take him to get fixed if he's already been fixed. How can I tell if he's fixed or not if I can't see any nads?

How old is he? I thought he was passed the age where they would have already dropped. But then again.....

They said he was 4 months. Would I expect to see nads at 4 months? I am making an appointment with the vet tomorrow. I could ask them when I take him in. But I would have thought he was old enough to have nads.

At 4 months, yes generally the would have already fallen. Have the vet check for them. Maybe he is a late bloomer.

Or he's already been fixed. Either way, I will check with the vet.

I found his nads! They are about the size of peas. Is that normal? I can't use Buster for comparison. He had buffalo nads. I hope his nads grow a little bit more before they cut them off. I don't want the vet to miss them.

Actually they do not "cut them off". The sacks will still be there and shrink in time. He is not being castrated but neutered. As for their size, they will grow.

But when we got Mr. Grumpy whiskers fixed, he came back with no nads. How will I know if they shrunk if they are so small anyway?

Mr Wiskers probably had them but neutering will cause prompt shrinkage. Obviously the larger the testies the more left behind with regards to sack.
Tigger Li my late breeding male Manx had a set that could match some 20lbs dogs. When he was neutered at 8 years the sacks stuck around for a few months getting smaller and smaller til there was hardly anything left.
