Exclamation Please Voice Your Complaint!! Ebay dog classifieds

This is terrible! Please read and then tell ebay what you think---See link and instructions below article.

"Puppy mills" are large-scale commercial operations where dozens of dogs are kept in small cages for their entire lives, forced to give birth to litter after litter until they're no longer fertile, at which point they're usually killed. Puppy mills are unsafe, inhumane, and produce thousands of puppies with serious health problems every year.
Now, puppy mills have found a national vendor: eBay.
A few years ago, eBay had plans to sell animals via online auction. Responsible breeders would never sell dogs via online auction, so this would have resulted in the site becoming a haven for puppy mills. eBay users and anti-cruelty activists spearheaded -- and won -- the fight to prevent eBay from selling live animals.
But now all that's changed.
Despite eBay's claims that it "do[es] not condone unethical treatment of animals," eBay now allows puppy mills to sell dogs in its classified section.
This practice enables flagrant cruelty to dogs, and it has to stop. Tell eBay to shut down its sales of cruelly treated puppies and all live animals.
Puppy mill dogs spend their entire lives in small wire cages, without companionship, and often without vet care, exercise or shelter from the elements. As far as puppy mill owners are concerned, the dogs have one purpose: to supply the pet trade.
The USDA recently admitted that they’ve failed to effectively monitor commercial breeders and puppy mills. When it comes to sites like eBay Classifieds, it’s even worse: Breeders who sell directly to customers online aren’t subject to any USDA regulations.
The best chance we have to shut down puppy mills is to hold vendors accountable.

Where does it say that? Perhaps it's because I'm in the UK that I can't see that. Do they actually state that they permit puppy mills?

Here in the UK we find that Epupz can used by mills but they do respond if you report them.

Part of the answer is education as well - people need to learn not to buy without seeing the whole of the litter and the mother and checking out the home situation - one area where we are somewhat ahead of the States.

Exclamation Updates--Ebay appears to have deleted the dog for sale ads!!!

I had put this message in another dog forum (pasted it word for word) I am going to paste here what I had replied to a member there that had wrote BS about it: You don't believe it?? See this: Madison Dogs & puppies For Sale | eBay Classifieds (Kijiji) - Page 1
I saw your reply in my emails very late---about 1am. I then googled Ebay to prove my point ----and low and behold they had shut down the classifieds!! So the page I wanted to put a link for --- I couldn't get! Supposedly they were temporarily updating to improve that section. I sent them a message before I posted this thread and prob others did too---about them allowing dogs to be sold----I wonder if that is why they needed to 'improve' the classified section. And darn I should of checked out the dog classifieds to see what they did---Will do so later!
BUT the link above proves my point!

And as far as reporting ---There are way too many to report and what good would it do as Ebay is now allowing the sale of dogs---although I still need to check out those classifieds again and see if they changed something since what was there yesterday!

I am going to check out the classifieds on Ebay and will prob be back to report if they changed things---If it is still there I prob. won't! You can check out the classifieds yourself. I too noticed when I was 1st checking it out, before I would post the above info in my 1st post -- that message you mentioned contradicted their classifieds for dogs!
Third item down, sales of live animals are prohibited.
Is this Ebay so big and unorganized that they don't know what they are doing??!!!

And this is the last post I added over there-->

Well! I just checked out the classifieds---They did remove that category from their selections in the classifieds----Hooray if it isn't 'hidden' some other way in there! But that link I gave does prove they were allowing ads to sell dogs!!! Sneaky to say the least--I had my suspicions late (1am) when I went to get the link to show you the classifieds and they had shut the classifieds down--"to improve it!!??"

I hope you will paste that link I gave in your browser (Sorry, I couldn't get it to be able to just click on it)---Check it out fast before they make that obsolete too! Actually there are other links for the sale of dogs on Ebay that you can see just by putting Ebay in your browser.

??--That top link I gave didn't work to be clicked on in the other forum but it appears to work here! (strange)
