Ideas for a dog or cat in Heat
To try to stop an unwanted pregnancy --- use a pair of scissors to cut a small opening for the pet's tail about 1 inch below the waistline of the front of a baby's disposable diaper. Using masking tape, cover the edges of the cut opening to prevent leakage. Secure the disposable diaper on the pet backward for a better fit. LOL, I would still keep an eye on the dog/cat---Would a male dog try ripping it up?!! And another bonus if it works---stops the mess in the house!
Another idea--To ward off unwelcome, prowling males eager to mate, rub a dab of Vicks VapoRub near your female dog or cat's tail. The pungent smell of eucalyptus and menthol mask the odor that attracts males. To calm a libidinous male dog---Put a dab of Vick's on his nose!
