Default How many doggies in your window?

I'm always curious about other people & their dogs so bare with me.

Votes are public! (I'm not sure if anyone would care?)

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

I seem to fall into the norm here, where as there is one that was listed as the crazy house. Or as I would like to say the "lucky house".

I put down a preemptive 1......only 3 hours to go and it will not be a lie.

That would be me LOL..When I was breeding I had 8 adults and once a year a litter of pups on the ground..It was a ton of work especially with a full-time nursing job and 4 small kids but I have to admit there are days I miss it!!

Being the breeds that they are, they are probably twice the size of the average dog, and maybe even eat twice as much, so why not?

lol, i suppose that would mean ree and lange would have to be able to claim at least 1.5 dogs. Hmmm thinking though what we are measuring against as the standard size dog?? Dutchie being of medium breed in comparison to Kato is 1 quarter of the size making an Akita 4 dogs in equivalent size and weight......that could make buster and porter up to 5 or 6 dogs each, turning ALL 3 of you potential crazies.....lol

I only have 4, but it sure feels like we have more than that. 2 saint bernards, a great pyrenees and Mr. Sweaters. You know the Budweiser commercials where the clydesdales are running? It sounds like that on my deck when I let the dogs out. Ryan says that inside the house it sounds like thunder.

This is fun reading about everyone. I would LOVE it if we could have photo signatures like other forums. Then we could see everyone's present crew with each post, It'd be so much better then the tiny profile pic's we have.

I'm hoping on joining the 3 max. group in the future, I keep debating on adding another. haha Really wish I could adopt but....

She was never alone, she had you! But I DO get what you're saying. Welcome to the forum, Keith.
