Very cute pattern. Cross stitching is great to do when the weather starts to get colder. I do alot of stain glass in the winter months. Some dog ones of course!!

Now I know I have to get 'my computer guy' here this week so my printer will be working and I can download that pattern! Hey that seems like a good site, Luna. I haven't done cross stitch for years---Bet my big collection of embroidery thread is rotten by now, darn. What does the thread cost now---I use to get it for 25 cents!

I don't know. I get my floss at auctions and estate sales and yard sales. I think I have 5 of every color ever made. I am cross stitching all of our christmas ornaments this year. Been working on that for several weeks. I decided that I have plenty of time to make whatever I need and took a break from those to make these adorable pooches. Check your floss before you go out and buy more Barb. They last longer than you think. I got some from an estate sale that had a 5 cent price tag and it was still in excellent condition.
When you do this pattern, make sure you have a magnifying glass. When it's printed off, it's printed in actual size which makes it hard to see sometimes.

I love it Luna..I wish I could do stuff like that..Unfortunately I was born with a scientific brain that seems to have wiped out whatever creativity that may have been present lol.

You don't have to be creative. The pattern is already made for you. Just follow instructions. Pretty simple.

I guess if I can calculate an I.V dosage and decipher a Dr.s handwriting I can handle that lol..Maybe I'll give it a shot..It looks like something fun to do when I'm bored out of my mind!

I love it. I've never done cross stitch. I love to crochet - dogs, teddy bears etc - and have just started sewing lessons. But I love that pattern :-)

I've always wanted to learn how to make stain glass. I had to settle for imitation. :P

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"
