Default Quick question

Is there anything that cause perfectly round blue rings on the skin and the fur close to the skin? Porter came back with that. It wasn't on the guard hairs when we picked him up. Just on his undercoat. It looks like he got hit with paintballs. I can't get the stains out of his fur. Is there any kind of fungus or bacteria that would cause stains like that or could it be paintballs?

This is what it looks like on top of his fur. You can't tell anything is there.

This is what it looks like on his undercoat. There are blue rings on his skin and coat.

I can't get those stains out.

That is strange! It does look like paint or dye. Didn't the vet see it when you took Porter in for the other problem? That woman who had him must be a real weirdo if she caused it----Does she have kids that would do that?

The vet didn't see it. Porter's coat is so think that I didn't even notice it until I was brushing his undercoat. This lady's kids are all grown and moved out. I was wondering if Porter got loose and one of her neighbors did it. I don't think she would tell me honestly if I called and asked her.

Both the dog warden and the vet think he got shot with a paintball gun.

Default Poor Porter

I've said it before and I'll say it again.
How anyone can harm an animal is beyond my thought process.
I would have to say "there is your reason why Porter is so freaked out about staying out in the backyard.
How many blue spots does he have. They almost look like his skin is bruised.
Lots of hugs and kisses to Porter, and while your at it, give some to Buster and Mr. Sweaters too!!

Please give Sammie an extra hug and maybe a "treat" from me.
So sorry Sammie, it won't happen again
