Default Pregnant Aussie countdown! Need advice!!!! PLEASE

Ok, my baby girl is 50 days pregnant and I just took her temp today...It is 99.4! That isnt supposed to happen this early! Is it? she is resting and seems relaxed...although she did not touch her food last night, and hasnt eaten today...I dont want to call the vet and overreact...I think they are getting tired of me calling for every little thing...I know I'm an over anxious expectant grandma to be...I just want her to be ok...oh and she is laying in her whelping box content and I got in there with her and was feeling the little guys kicking away!!! AWWWWWWWWWWW It was sooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you bred before? Was this a planned litter? How old is she?

first litter, and yes all test have been done on her and the stud (which is mine as well) She is tri and he is a blue merle...all health cks. were done and she was cleared to be bred...she is 2 1/2 years old, 3rd heat cycle...everything has been going well, I'm just getting nervous...have researched breeding for over a year, and am on the phone with my vets daily(well almost) I just want my girl to be ok as well as the puppies....But was told I could start taking her temp to chart it starting today, and first temp I took it was 99.4? that is usually the temp when they are 24 to 48 hrs. away from whelping...so I was a little baffled...I am just looking for ANY and ALL advice (unless its a negative lecture) have had plenty of those nasty comments, and I'm looking for help not ridicule!

Well considering you seem to be doing everything right I'm not going to give you a lecture...From what your saying it does seem like she's getting close...I would go ahead and give the vet a call and just double check to be on the same page!

thank you so much! and for being so kind! I called the other day to ask a question and the girl, said "its ok, you are doing everything right, and cloe seems to be in great hands and to keep up the good work". Although it being our first litter I have heard the horror stories, and terrible things that COULD happen, and I'm having terrible worries my baby girl could have something go wrong...I love her so much! I'm super excited to see her babies too! Oh and all puppies are spoken for! Had homes BEFORE we bred her! All people we know, most from our church!
