Default Bailey is feeling SO much better!!!

Well, we have had a VERY hard week. However, Bailey has done amazingly well and is back to her old wonderful self. We still have to give her loads of meds but, she is thriving once again!!!

Awesome news.
All the work is worth it when you can see the "thank you" in their eyes and their tail wagging.

Thank you dogs rule for your kind words. At Bailey's advanced age, we were VERY worried about her but, that babe is strong!

I'm glad your doggie is feeling better. I hope progress continues, also. Will Bailey have to be on meds for the remainder of his life, or will he fully recover and not have to take meds anymore?

Luna: She will have to keep taking her liver meds but, they were prescribed long before any of this happened. The rest of the meds have a definite end date..

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

That's what we're all here for. We can all relate to each others love & worry over our babies. Like Nattie's tagline says, we all know a lot individually but together we are so much more powerful in all aspects. (..not a quote but an approximate )

I personally don't have much experience in what Bailey has been going through but we all know how it is to worry when any of our babies are sick. Its scary & having eachother here.. it's just such a wonderful place to come and vent, worry, get information or just support or a laugh. You especially have been going thru more recently with the incident before & now Bailey. You need a breather!

It is just so incredibly wonderful to talk to people who really understand what it is like to have a sick fur kid. People who don't really love animals just don't "get it" even though they try to be sympathetic.
