I got an email from C/M to come check the forum. (thanx c/m!)
What a love! Anyway I went to look. Luckily he is rescued already. Thanks for passing this on, Luna! I do want to add a male Akita but once a rescue steps in my chance to adopt is gone. If you run into anything it the future share again please. I would love to adopt but I'm just not what most rescue's are looking for because of our house make up, even though I'm pretty confident I could make it work if the dog isn't extreme.

What a cutie.. My heart actually skipped.

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

That is so good! The first time I saw him, he was still in danger of getting pts. I had to post it for you guys to see if you knew an akita rescue or something.

There's a few Akita Rescue's although they are swamped like most right now. I wondered if it was the east coast rescue who had saved him but I haven't seen anything mentioned on the email group. I don't have a FB anymore either so I can't tag. I'm just amazed he only had one day I know Akitas get pts quick but geez..he's just a puppy..glad he was saved!!

I am too. He must have gotten saved shortly after I posted that. I posted it on my facebook too. Cleveland is only 3 hours from me. I was hoping someone from around there would see it.

I caught this post late but I'm sure glad to hear the little guy was saved!!...We'll ventually be adding another Akita but it will be a female this time.
