Whew! That was a very long read but very interesting! In the talk about the mystery of how/when humans became more domesticated (I know I am not wording this right--no scientist here!) I have my theory! Do any of you watch all the Alien 'chapters' that are on The History Channel? I wish I didn't believe a lot of it, but I'm afraid I do! Would like to hear what others think if you have watched it.

I found this to be very interesting, but leaves me to ask, will this research end with the fox, or will it lead to others animals?
Are we going to try and domesticate all wild animals?
If science keeps "taming" the wild, then what are we left with?
It's like cloning, it can go to far.

I have read about the farm fox experiment in more than a few books lately... It's absolutely fascinating stuff!
