This man needs the same thing done to him.

Calling him sick is a "nice" way of putting it. Not only is this sickening but it is infuriating! A puppy chewed something up - not only is normal, it should be expected. And I'm certain he'll argue that he "did nothing wrong".

Angry

I didn't watch this--I just couldn't--I have just had all I can take lately on the terrible things that dumb asses do. But it sounds horrible and if I was there when it was happening--I'd prob. be in jail as I would be swinging whatever I could get my hands on at this murderer's head!!!

It's not a video, it's just an article.

I wasn't going to click on the link either because I was afraid of what it might show..ever since the Chinese child incident I'm getting timid..

This goes back to my suggestion of people having to be approved to own dogs. I bet there's something in his background check that would bring up a red flag.

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

Default "punishable by up to four years in prison"

How often does that ever happen? Most people who abuse animals never see the inside of a jail cell. BTW, it is ok to look. It is an article -nothing gory.

Unhappy

Okay, I read it but it still made me cry! I just get so emotional anymore when I think of any dog suffering--I love mine so much and know that animals can hurt/suffer the same as us humans. It is esp. sad when you see how innocent the puppy was and prob. trusting and this brute did all that to the poor little thing. I hope he gets all that is coming to him!!!!

Is there a puppy ever born who never chewed up something he/she wasn't supposed to?

Mr. Sweaters chewed off the back of my couch and he's still alive.

You and me, both.
Sometimes I think I should toughen up, but I can't or won't when it comes to animal cruelty.

Chances are, he'll get a puny fine and a two year prohibition from owning animals which he will ignore if he chooses to.
