Default Blind dachshund needs help!

I know there is someone on here somewhere that has a blind dachshund! There is one that needs a new home before he goes to the pound. The morons that own him had a baby and now they are "getting rid" of their 6 year old blind dachshund. Welcome to Facebook - Log In, Sign Up or Learn More Not sure if you can click on that and read it, but that gives the info.

OMG!! How adorable is he! I have 2 deaf doxies with some sight issues as well, but they're not blind... poor baby, blind dogs have a really tough time in shelters... it's very scary for them as a rule

There is a blind dogs Yahoo group, possibly a good idea for him to be posted on there?

It never ceases to amaze me what little effort people put into keeping their dogs. When I had our son I GOT a dog... Why do you have to give up a dog because of a baby?

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

The doggie found a home! He will be going to his new home on Monday. I am so glad he didn't have to go to a shelter.
