I had to send my dog(a chiuahua/jack russle mix) to my mother-in-laws house for a 6 weeks after she had Puppies. I just got her back and she wont go out side to use the bath room. My mother-in-law is not good at letting the dogs out side to potty. Well, not the small ones atleast. I don't know what to do. Every time I put her in her crate at night or even for an hour or two during the day, she goes to the potty in it...... what am I to do?

My Patterdales peed and pooed in the house when i first go them, they weren't puppies just a little confused as to where to go.
I feed them outside, wherever they eat, they will toilet to mark their territory.
I guess they've learnt buy association now, cuz everytime they went outside and i saw them i gave loads of praise and fuss, also if i cought them doing it inside they got told off.
Don't have any trouble now with toileting.
